Vehicle Introduction Course:
Training could either be coupled with the leasing of a new/replacement vehicle, or as part of a client's workplace training.

• A Driver Trainer on a 1:1 ratio with the vehicle's driver - maximum of one hour's duration.
• A walk round of the vehicle with the driver.
• If an existing fleet vehicle (single driver) - Identify any obvious issues: tyre wear (cause and effect); minor scrapes (reversing problems?); wheels (excessive brake dust - heavy braking?); evidence of general care of the vehicle etc.
• If a new vehicle - Simple explanation of the vehicle's features (ABS, airbag, air conditioning etc), what items to check daily, weekly etc.
• In-cab practical tutorial/assessment over the types of roads normally driven over.
• The course content and location can be varied to suit the client, and their types of vehicle.

Consists of 2 modules each achieving 20 NZQA approved training unit standards attracting government subsidies. Each module is eight-hours in duration and aims to improve the safe driving practices of car drivers and reduce vehicle running and insurance costs through the application of intelligent and defensive driving. Achievement of both modules will result in the National Certificate in Driving however the modules may be taken separately and independently.

Module A - Driver Awareness
$300 plus GST per participant.

Module B - Driver Improvement
$300 plus GST per participant.

Driver Awareness:
The course is one eight-hour day in duration, and is conducted on the basis of one trainer to four drivers, and aims to improve the safe driving practices of car drivers and reduce vehicle running and insurance costs through the application of intelligent and defensive driving practices.

Driver Improvement:
The course is again one eight-hour day in duration, and is also conducted on the basis of one instructor to three or four drivers, and aims to improve the safe driving practices of car drivers and reduce vehicle running and insurance costs through the application of intelligent and defensive driving practices.
